Crystal Merkel

Meet your coach

Crystal rebuilt her own strength. Now she helps you find yours.

Ocotillo Core Collective grew out of Crystal Merkel's own story. Through pregnancy, surgeries, and loss, she learned how to rebuild a capable body slowly, gently, and with grace. That lived experience shapes every session she leads.

As a fitness coach and HIIT instructor with a background in Foundation Training, Crystal blends practical strength with deep care. She believes movement should adapt to your life, welcome your children, and feel a lot more like play than punishment.

With influence from Alli, pediatric occupational therapist

Alli brings an expert lens on anatomy, child development, and play, so the toddler-inspired movements are genuinely good for growing bodies and grown-up ones alike.
